Product Summary

The radiator thermostatic control valve is an energy-saving product. From the control point of view, the thermostatic regulator is a continuous proportional controller (P controller), which does not require auxiliary energy. It does not need to connect any power supply and consume external energy. The temperature controller can make full use of the free energy emitted by the internal and external heat sources in the space, including the heat from solar energy, human body, electrical equipment and other heat sources, to maintain the stability of indoor air temperature, which helps to prevent energy waste. This product has become an important link in building energy conservation and the future development trend of heat supply.

It is easy and fast to install. A thermostatic control valve is installed on each group of radiators, which can save energy by 25% - 30%. It also provides antifreeze protection for radiators. It is an ideal choice for radiators and heating systems.

Working Principle

The temperature sensing element of the temperature control regulator in the thermostatic control valve is used to control the opening of the valve. When the room temperature rises, the temperature sensing element compresses the valve rod to make the valve smaller due to thermal expansion. When the room temperature drops, the temperature sensing element shrinks due to cooling, and the valve rod bounces back to make the valve larger. The temperature sensing element can be very sensitive to small changes in room temperature (such as electrical heating, solar radiation, etc.), and can automatically adjust the flow to reach a comfortable temperature range, free from the influence of climate conditions.

Installation and use matters

  • The thermostatic valve head must be installed horizontally so that the surrounding air can flow smoothly through the temperature regulator. The valve body is installed at the radiator inlet, and the water flow direction is consistent with the arrow direction of the valve body.
  • The thermostatic valve cannot be installed behind the heating hood, under the windowsill, behind the curtain or in the place directly exposed to the sun.
  • To facilitate the installation of the temperature control regulator, the handle should be set at the maximum open position before installation, and the lock nut of the temperature control regulator should be screwed to the valve body.
  • When refitting the old heating system, install a filter in front of the radiator thermostatic valve.
  • Night setting: In order to improve comfort and save energy, please lower the setting temperature at night or when no one is around.
  • Anti freezing protection: When you go out for a long time, please adjust the thermostatic valve to the lowest control gear to ensure anti freezing.
